Initially thought this would not be effective, but it is. Our couch is cloth, so our cat unfortunately loves to cratch it. With these protectprs, he has not done it at all.I think over time the stickiness degrades, especially on the corners. But that is where the i cluded hooks come in. I dont use them tho, I just. Make sure to cover the areas not on the edge of the plastic, but in the middle.

The plastic sheets stick well to the furniture but I do find they start peeling off fairly quickly, however if you also use the included pins at the corners then the plastic stays on for a long time without needing to replace it. The pins screw in and work on most material except leather, but I also wouldn't use the sticky sheets on leather either as it would likely damage it.I have three cats who leave most of my furniture alone but there is one chair they have taken to lightly scratching and some new chairs that have a padded seat. I put the sheets on the spots they were scratching and they have now stopped scratching both and are sticking to their scratching posts. It is noticeable on the furniture but it doesn't look awful and it's doing the job well. I've ordered other brands of sticky sheets in the past when the cats were kittens but I had to buy the pins separately and the sheets were smaller, this set is much better and comes with everything needed to get the plastic to stay on for extended periods.

It came with some nails to also secure them better onto certain fabrics, but I couldn't use them with the velvet sofas I was using them for.PROS:- Dense and high quality-- my cat can't scratch through them- Easy to apply and adjust- Additional screws for securityCONS:- The sizing was very awkward and it didn't cover the sides of my sofa well. I had to use the smaller strips to cover parts- It is very visible in comparison to other guards- You would have to cut some of the sheets anyway to get them to fit. It makes more sense to have the same amount in one role rather than one-sized-fits-all sheets.

I am extremely satisfied with this pack of 12 furniture protectors. It's the perfect solution to protect my sofa and armchairs from my cat's claws without damaging the decor. I like everything about these furniture protections plastic sheets, and my cat hates them. It has virtually stopped him from ruining a beautiful wingback, upholstered chair, I've owned for years. I had help putting up the plastic sheets. Someone else cut them to measure for the sides, and used whole ones for the back. The chair is nearly covered on the back and sides, but it doesn't look bad at all, and it prevents my little monster from clawing it. Since the sheets can be cut in any shape we are adding a few little pieces here and there to stop the wily cat from finding an open spot. I also placed his new scratching post right beside the chair so it is easy to immediately pick him up and reintroduce him to the right place to scratch when he attempts to scratch on the furniture. We were very pleased with the adhesive sheets, and I pulled one off and replaced it to see if it did anything to the chair. It did not harm it at all and worked like a charm. We have quite a few leftover plastic sheets if we ever need to replace these. In addition to my previous review: I ordered another package of these sheets to do another chair in the same room, since the first chair is now being virtually left alone by wily kitty. These protector sheets do work as they claim and I don't think the chairs look terrible with the plastic sheeting on them. There is a lot less noise of him scratching now and I'm pretty smug about it. I hope I don't need to order any more but we have another sitting room full of upholstered furniture and so far he hasn't touched anything in there. But I know what to order if he does!

I got these not for cats, but for my teething puppy. She is at the stage where she thinks everything, especially the edges of the sofa, are for her enjoyment. Yep, it works. It's not rocket science. We have had an older cat for 10 years, who never scratched, I guess we were lucky. Now we've added 2 sibling kittens that are very sweet but very clearly at least 50% demon. They want to turn every object on the planet into confetti. We have combined this fabric tape with what experts call "training" to try to make the kittens scratch less, but, only having had an old cat for 10 years, we might as well be trying to teach the new kittens calculus. We'd heard about products like this and were using packing tape backwards as a type of ghetto solution at first. It seemed to work, so, we got these sheets to try instead. They work. The kittens stopped scratching. Or rather, they stopped scratching our couches and are forced to become more creative in ways they may ruin our house with their adorable little paws and demon blades. The product works perfectly, but a side-effect of using it is that you will forget it's there, and then one day one of the boys is sitting down in shorts, and when they go to stand up it tries to wax their legs smooth. This isn't a failure of the product, it's just a consequence of needing to use it. I hate that we need to use this, but I'm not buying new couches every year either, so, the price for my peace is eternal vigilance.

She has more safe scratch areas then we have furniture space. She still scratches what she shouldn't. This product comes in sheets, in 2 sizes. 1 size would be good for the base of your couch and the larger pieces for the sides and back of your couch. I do like that these do not require pins. It is an adhesive and it sticks to certain fabrics. It's important to note that not all fabrics will work with this. My couch is microfiber. After a wipe to clean the area, this adhered nicely. I wouldn't recommend leaving these on for an extended period of time. There is nothing that states to do so but out of caution, personally, I don't want the sticky part to leave marks on my furniture. So far, so good. Recommend.

I simply applied the sheets to the corners, then trimmed them up to fit the exact height of the couch itself. This kit also comes with some adorable cat-paw themed chair slippers, which you can slide over the legs of a standard dining room chair. I didn't expect those, but they're certainly cute. In summary, this kit comes with everything you should need as long as you plan out exactly what areas need to be covered.

It's pretty thick and slippery so our cats didn't like scratching on it cause they couldn't dig their claws in. in the light you can see the plastic on your furniture cause it is shiny but in our living room on a regular day you won't notice it. I wish I had found these sooner. Bought a new couch and my cats were absolutely destroying the arms and sides of it. It didn't matter what I did, they would return and turn the exterior into what looked like a shag carpet, so I needed something to help and... I wish I had found these sooner. The adhesive sticks well, and the guards can be wrapped around corners then held down with furniture pins. They can be trimmed to size and they don't cover the entire couch arm like the cover does so they're far more low profile and easier on the eyes. So far, my cats haven't even tried to scratch them so i'm calling it a win after months of trying alternatives.

Even with my cat being persistent, the material held up without tearing or peeling. It was simple to put on and stayed secure for weeks. My living room feels safe again and I would recommend.

They seemed to adhere well, but I’m interested to see how long they’ll stay on for and if there’s any residue leftover. I have them on a leather chair, a faux leather chair and a fabric couch. I wanted to grab these to try them on the door frames as my cat is crazy and runs and jumps up on them. These sheets are perfect for keeping the cat from destroying the new couch. My cat absolutely loves scratching and destroying my sofa, bed frame, ottoman, chairs, etc you name it. It's frustrating sometimes as I love her and I love my furniture lol. These protectors though work fantastic as I put them easily affixed to the hot spots she loves and now she's more encouraged to use her scratching pads and posts. They adhere well and an excellent investment in my opinion.

Works perfectly. My cat stopped scratching my fabric bed frame. Easy to apply, they stick well. They are also easy to peel off. Very effective.

For starters, the clear (albeit shiny) protective sheets are subtle and look better on my couch than similar products I've used. The material is quite thick and durable, and while it's done a good job at preventing my cats from making the couch their new favorite scratching post, the sheets are almost too thick for their own good. They have to be applied as perfectly as possible in order to prevent them from bulging or coming off. The adhesive itself is decent and won't damage my couch, but it's not necessarily strong enough to stay. The kit tries to mitigate these two issues by offering two different sheet sizes (which can also be trimmed down to a preferred size) as well as twist-in pins to hold the sheets in place. I've found that pre-bending the sheets for corners and applying as perfectly as possible has been the best method to keeping them on the couch. The twist-in pins are good in theory, but constantly popping out a little bit so I have to push them back in, and then the clear pieces stick out quite a lot. If you have cats that are rather curious, these may become a new thing for them to play with and potentially swallow. My cat hasn't managed to take any out, but she has tried to chew on them a couple times. Overall, they're decent sheets but could be better. Placing them on the solid edges of furniture have worked well, but if you need something more flexible to go on the lower cushions of your couch, I may look elsewhere.

It’s not perfect, you can still see it in most lighting, but it does exactly what I needed: save the couch from two chaotic kittens while staying easy to apply and remove. If you’re looking for a no‑drama, non-toxic way to protect your furniture, this is the perfect. I love that the tape comes in pre-cut out shapes and sizes that work for most couch designs. Though I think after a month or two they will get dusty/linty and need to be replaced. You could also use this on other surfaces that they might destroy or that you want to deter them from. Highly recommend for anyone whose cats think your sofa is their personal scratch board! If I could give this a half star, it'd be 4.5/5 stars. I just wish it lasted longer, but what do you expect from tape. Bonus - there was a cute gift included; cat paw leg protectors for chairs/stools. I love that they're calico print! It's super cute and well made!!

I'm using another brand already, and I like it a lot better for a couple of reasons. This product has adhesive on both sides, which means it can quickly become a hair and dirt magnet and make the furniture look shabby. It's also a bit tricky to peel back except where the peel tab is, and if you cut it to fit, removing it is a challenge. That said, my cats have stayed away from every area where it's applied, which is the main job. If you're focused on protecting your furniture and don't mind the appearance trade-offs, it does work. Just look at the alternatives if aesthetics are a priority.

I had to get this to protect an expensive chair from being ripped apart. And while I do have them on the chair and they do work, the issue I have is probably mine, but not sure. Normally I let my husband put things like this up, but I couldn't wait for him as my cats were doing a number to my chair. So I tried putting them on, and yes, they stuck, but I cannot get the white layer off no matter how hard I try. My husband, who is better at doing these kinds of things, also couldn't get the white layer off for me. Maybe it would've been better if he tried a fresh piece, but I didn't want to pull of what was there because at least it is discouraging them. So yeah, it works, but it sucks that it sticks out like a sore thumb. But since this is in a room most people don't come into, it's not a deal breaker. I think there was a decent amount of pieces that I can just try again at some point and hope it turns out better for me. I will definitely update if I happen to do this. I'm just glad I'm saving my chair. Thanks for that.

We had a cat adopt us last year, and she really, really likes scratching the corners of our bed before and after naps, especially when we are still sleeping. I saw these and thought they might allow me to have another 15 minutes of sleep, and a little more life out of our bed. These are essentially large sheets of clear plastic with a light tackiness to the backside to make installation easier. There are thumbscrews (spiral tacks?) included as well. They were easy to install without having to read instructions, and have worked well to protect the corners of the bed. Unfortunately, when sitting on the edge of the bed, they crinkle and make that plastic sheet bending noise. Also, my cat is very adaptable and is now using the unexposed portion of the bed next to the plastic. That said, the corners where these are installed have been scratch-free ever since, and getting even an extra 10 minutes of undisturbed sleep is a win. Decent solution even if it's not a perfect one.

I tried these on the exact furniture areas my kitten loves to scratch, hoping the sticky surface would discourage the behaviour. The adhesive definitely sticks well to the furniture. It stays in place and doesn’t peel off easily, so from a basic adhesion standpoint, it does what it’s supposed to do. Unfortunately, that’s where the success ended. My kitten simply kept scratching the exact same spots as if nothing had changed. The tape stayed attached to the furniture, but it didn’t deter the behaviour at all. If anything, it just became another surface to attack. In a single-cat household with a more cautious cat, this might work better. With a determined kitten who treats everything like a challenge, it didn’t slow the scratching down even a little.

This furniture protection sheets which is double sided is not very simple to use. As soon as you pull the one side off you think all is well then you go to take the other side off to reveal the second sticky area and it gets all tangled up and stick to itself. Every single sheet gave me issues. Inevitably I just ordered different ones because w couldn’t get them to stop sticking to themselves. Only one out of the entire pack did what it was supposed to. My cats acted like it was a toy by the next day. I wish it did work as well as I hoped but it didn’t . If you can figure out how to get them to not stick to themselves you would be fine but e cant get it right. Maybe someone else can buy it just wasn’t in the cards for me.

Do I think these will protect my furniture from the cats? Absolutely. Do I think the adhesive will hold for a decent duration before they fall off? On flat surfaces, probably yes. On corners, it's trickier. My cats like to go for the corners and this stuff is difficult to attach there. The little curly pins included help, but they feel fragile and won't go all the way in if there's wood or backing behind the fabric. Once I focused on using them on the long flat sections of the couch instead, they've held up fine and kept my cats off those areas. Just have realistic expectations about corner coverage and you'll get value out of these.

Let me start by saying this item does it's job. My cats just don't care and want to distroy our house. The furniture protector has a really firm adhesive, we used it on our fabric headboard and didn't need the provided screws to keep it in place, even when wrapped around more narrow pieces. It does prevent them from scratching and clawing, but if your cats are adamant about clawing, this will not prevent them, they will just be clawing the plastic. I believe some cats may have an aversion to the plastic feel and sound. My just don't care.

Got a new couch, my cat thinks he's Spider-Man and likes to climb along the bottom as well as claw the sides. Application was easy but there just wasn't enough to cover all my problem areas so I had to leave about 2 inch gaps between some stickers. 3 of the stickers peeled off by the following day. The rest are in place months later still, which I honestly didn't expect. My cat scratches the small gaps I left, which is hilarious, but the actual furniture is holding up where these are applied. Not perfect but the couch would look a lot worse without them.

Unfortunately this product just wasn't the best fit for what I needed, I got it to put on the back of our chairs, but they have a slight curve to them and this just isn't flexible enough to fit them properly. On the parts that were flat, it did a great job, stuck well, and would be perfect if it was on a completely flat surface. I was hopeful that it would be enough to deter my cats, but they just picked at the edges where it couldn't get a good fit, but I can't blame the product for that.

No stars. I had to give it at least one or I couldn’t post this.I was excited to get the product and then horrified to realize that the adhesive pulled off the fabric from my new furniture and changed the texture and the color in the areas that it was adhered to. I tried to very carefully remove all of the plastic that I had put on, cursing myself that I bought it in the first place and now my new furniture doesn’t look so new anymore.

I didn't pay attention, my own fault. The protectors I usually get just stick on. These come with little screw things that hold the plastic in place, which I didn't like at all at first. Just know that these do not stick on. Once I got over the surprise and used the pins properly, they actually held up better than I expected. My couch corners have been protected for a few weeks now with no signs of coming loose.

It seems to be a nice product but not for us. My husband’s chair is a very short pile fabric and it doesn’t stick very well to it. AND, my bengal cross 17 lb cat is too smart - he’s found a way to pull it off without getting stuck to it. I’m sure it would do well if the fabric was regular. I think any fabric that has pile, or is velvet is not a good base for this product.

I would give zero stars if I could. I placed these on my fabric couch and recliner, within 15 minutes they were coming loose. I pressed them back down several times. The next morning three pieces were in the floor. They definitely stuck better to my floor than they did my furniture. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Doesn't stick very well out of the box, and a couple of edges started lifting after a few days. Pressed them back down and they've been holding since. My cat stopped going after the corners that are covered, which is what I bought these for. Not the stickiest product but it's doing its job.

They are clear and very shiny, which makes them stand out more than I'd like in certain lighting. But my cat has completely stopped scratching the spots where they're applied, which is the whole point. Not the most invisible solution but it works.

Purchased for a new sofa and chairs; these were very easy to install, peel and stick. Very sturdy and stick well to a corduroy/velour material. They are clear and are noticeable especially in daylight but rather this than torn material. Definitely has stopped scratching of nail claws on furniture using cat scratch pole more often. There are a generous amount of pin cushion that are easy to twist into the material once you break through the plastic. Hold the corners in place much better. Would recommend product. Have been on the sofa for almost 3 weeks now and still holding well. Highly recommend. Only wish there were more sheets in package. Good size.

It’s been two months since I put them up on a new couch and they worked really well. The adhesive is amazing, didn’t even need the pins. I tried to remove one in a corner and it didn’t damage the material. Overall super happy with them. I would like to see a more dull option, since from certain angles it’s shiny.

The sheets are quite durable and my cats did try going around them to scratch but they’ve given up.I do recommend this couch protector for cats.

I've had a problem with my cat scratching my gorgeous wood bed frame for attention. It often wakes me up. I heard her the night after I put this on start, then immediately stop so it definitely works as a deterrent. Will add it to a few more surfaces she is after! I cut it into strips which made it a little harder to peel the adhesive without the tabs.*I haven't yet removed it from the wood surface I put it on, so can't comment on this aspect

Awesome product, it saved my new sectional! It's really easy to install if you read the directions first. I've had it on for 3 days and my cats haven't gone near the couch. I was a bit worried at first about cat hair sticking to the outside of the tape but it doesn't very much, and is still a lot better than permanent scratches on the couch.Love the little stickers that come with it too!! This is the second time I've ordered these couch protectors as they really deter my two cats from scratching the sides and back of the couch and armchairs. Eventually they lose some of their stickiness and need to be replaced. Will definitely keep using these as long as I have cats.

Coming across this is game changer .. tried many different methods to save my furniture from being destroyed and declawing was never a option . Worked as it should and stopped my cats from scratching the corners of my couches. They are easy to put up and the clear material means it’s not too noticeable. I’ve only had to retighten some of the screws once or twice in the year I’ve had them up. Quick and lasting solution for a great price.

Applying *any* cover to a couch is problematic, complicated by fabrics that don't accept adhesives on soft, pliable surfaces as well as the added complication of moving surfaces for recliners, etc. With all that in mind, I found that these cat scratch furniture protectors work quite well.Pros:* Adhesive is just about right - neither too sticky, nor not sticky enough.* Size of pieces - also just about right (2x sizes), which can be combined as needed.* Good ease of use, e.g., removing the tape backing, applying to couch surface, etc.* Fastener pins - although not perfect - work well enough (see my comments below)Cons:* Kind of pricey, though I did get a discount when shopping during Christmas time.* The "1, 2, 3" instructions gloss over some challenges, e.g., how to combine / position sheets, how many fasteners to use, and how to use fasteners under different circumstances.Fasteners:Worth a few comments (see close-up pics of the fasteners, and of the fasteners installed). They're these curious twist/push pins with a sharp tip that you push through the protective sheet and couch fabric, then firmly twist to "grab the couch fabric" and help keep the protective sheets attached to your couch. When I first looked at them, I initial reaction was that they were kind of sketch - a strange shape, and not very strong. But as I applied them I began to realize that they work pretty well under challenging circumstances to provide some degree of improved "stay in place" durability for your affixed protective sheets. After installing dozens of fasteners here's a few take-aways I hope will be helpful:* The fastener head is small and it's a bit difficult to force the fastner tip through 1 or 2 sheets and through the couch fabric, so I used a vice-grip to hold a fabric needle and used that to "pre-drill" holes for the fasteners, which then were easy to poke through the hole and begin twisting.* Even under ideal conditions twisting the fastener into the couch fabric and ensuring it is flush to the protective sheet in order to hold it in place is an art. It helps to visualize the spiral needle worming it's way through the fabric then at the end you need one last extra firm twist to "lock" the fastener in place, which on the inside means that you've compressed the spiral needle against the back side of fabric.* It's a bit more tricky when there's wood behind the fabric. If the fabric is glued to the word, you're probably out of luck, but if there's some "flex" to the fabric you can wiggle the fastener and gently pull the fabric toward you (away from the wood) to allow the spiral needle to worm it's way in.* Sometimes despite your best effort the fastener doesn't go in or stay in properly or mount with the head nice and flush against the protective sheet. My take is that this is to be expected since the whole process of inserting the fasteners is a combination of art, skill and luck. If a fastener doesn't work well, pull it out and try again with another (I got pretty good after a few dozen, but tossed some out as I was learning).Cat Scratch Prevention Effectiveness: Best I can tell so far, wherever you place these protectors the cats do not even try to scratch - it's just not satisfying. So when affixed, these protectors work quite well!

I bought 1 pack of these to try out since I was skeptical about how long they would stick to my couch. They have been going strong for 2 months with 2 large cats. We didnt have to use the pins, the sheet itself stuck firm. Ended up ordering another set to do the back of the couch as well to be safe. Will definitely buy again and again if the need happens.

This product has worked great on my leather sofa and upholstered furniture. My cat is no longer interested in shredding her favorite upholstered chair and has successfully started using a scratching post that she had previously ignored. It really took getting furniture protectors to get her to use the scratching board. I initially purchased the smaller 5-pack of protectors and found that I needed more coverage since I have 3 furniture pieces. I now have all of the surfaces covered and have even removed the protector from the leather sofa since the cat does not bother it. I had no residue or issue with removing the adhesive from natural leather. I did use the included tacks to fasten the protectors to my upholstered chair because there are a lot of curves on the chair. These tacks were easy to install and do not appear to damage the furniture. I imagine I will eventually remove these protectors as the cat continues to use the scratching post. I did not use tacks on the leather sofa, and the product adhered to it with no problem. After a few weeks, it is starting to lift in higher traffic areas where we rub up against it frequently, but the goal was to use these temporarily until the cat learns where to scratch. I was also able to remove and reposition these protectors and they still were very sticky.

My cats are notorious for scratching the h*ll out of furniture (even though they have several scratching pads and posts and get regular nail trims). We had to replace part of our sectional, so I added these the second the delivery people left my house. They cut very easily and the little circular pins were fairly easy to “screw” into the fabric, except where I was near the wood/metal pieces inside. They even came in a smaller strip that matched the size of the armrest area.In the third picture, you can see I even put it over top of a part of the couch they had previously scratched, which we did not replace. It hides the scratches pretty well. I missed a tiny one inch space and they definitely got their claws on it lol. But you can see in the last picture that the plastic sticky pieces aren’t even punctured.Best cat/furniture thing I’ve ever bought. There was a ton leftover too for future furniture pieces.

Bueno creo que ahora si ya puedo hacer un comentario pues han pasado varios días desde que me llegó el producto e inmediatamente los coloqué estrategicamente a mis muebles. Puedo decir que desde que los puse mis gatos no han rascado las esquinasl. Si lo han hecho ha servido para disuadirlos y eso es exactamente lo que yo quería. Los vinilos llegaron doblados y pensé que ya se habian arruinado pero los puse en el piso primero con peso encima para hacerlos planos y como son suaves si funcionó. LLegaron doblados porque los empacaron en un sobre muy pequeño en vez de algo como una caja para protegerlos eso es lo único que no me gustó. Pero hasta el día de hoy puedo decir que están haciendo su trabajo de proteger las esquinas de mis sofás y sillones.

The product works as advertised! Yes, the protectors might not be so glamorous when affixed to your furniture, but the goal of this product is to deter your cat(s) from tearing up your furniture. From my experience, I would say the product does just that! After you observe your cat(s) have developed an association not to scratch the area(s) of the furniture where the product was applied, you can experiment by removing the protector(s) to see if the cat(s) have truly developed such association. My wife and I have placed pieces on the corners of our mattress and our cats no longer scratch the mattress (even areas that weren't covered by the protectors). If other furniture pieces seem to be of interest to our cats in the future, we know what to do.Applying the product is relatively simple. Removing the product is easy as well. I think it is really cool that the product came with an added bonus (i.e., Cat Glove). I have yet to use it on my cats, but if it is anything like the protectors, I'm sure it works great too.

I was skeptical, but this sticky paper really works! As soon as I applied it, my cats completely stopped scratching my furniture. I did find that adding a few small pins helped secure it, especially on fabric surfaces. It's a much better solution than dealing with shredded furniture. I'm very pleased with the results.

Easy stick on. The spring pins are ok, my couch is thinner so maybe one with more padding would work better but overall I don’t need them for my couch. I wasn’t sure if these would work, but they actually do.My cat no longer scratches the corners of the couch.While they aren’t exactly attractive, they do at least blend in because they are clear.One piece is the right size for the corner of my couch (I made sure it was placed exactly where she tended to scratch) and they also have sufficient stickiness because they’ve stayed in place for several months.All in all, this was a good purchase because they are effective in doing what they were designed to do.

I think these protectors are great. Very easy to adhere to furniture. Enough for several places if you need them. My package arrived damaged and there were NO twist pins as advertised. I’m keeping the protectors, because I need them ASAP. VERY DISAPPOINTED that whoever packed took so little care to send a damaged package missing this one product. These really are a helpful and stress reducing product. The adhesive of the tape holds quite well on my style of sectional, no need for the pins that came with it for me. Our sectional is U shaped - 10 feet long and jutting out at 6 and 7 feet respectively on the ends. One pack covers all but the back, so if you have a large sectional I would suggest 2 packs. They have been on for weeks now and have not slipped, loosened or changed in any way. I can wipe off the fronts with a wet cloth easily. Visually, they are hardly noticeable. I have pointed them out to guests who did not notice them! I coupled this with cat scratcher couch protectors and we have had zero scratching incidents since I placed these on around a month ago.

Two kittens, 7 months old, had to protect the sofa from those claws and these work like a charm. They haven’t even tried to scratch since applied to sofa. Can barely see them which makes me happy. No more blankets covering the sofa the cats are using their scratcher now.

Bought this cause our kitty kept using our laundry hamper as a scratching post, despite having several other, actual scratching posts. After applying these to the sides, she completely stopped clawing at it, so I can definitely say it works. The adhesive does its job and keeps her away from scratching at the areas it's protecting, not sure if it's the feeling or smell or what.It was also easy to cut to the right size and I had no trouble adjusting them to fit. Looks-wise, it's fine on the hamper, but I'm not sure if I'd use on larger items since it's super shiny. Lately, I also noticed they recently started peeling off in some spots (after 6-7 months), but I didn't bother to use the tacks, so that's probably why. Luckily it comes in a 10 pack, so it'll be easy to replace. I think it's worth it overall.

I purchased a new couch and was nervous about my cat using it as its new scratch post. It has now been five weeks since I had my couch, and my cat has not attempted to scratch the couch with the guards in place. The protectors are great. They have a sticky side that you put to the couch. And I like the clear pins for extra attachment . The protectors are not too noticeable, not to take away from the aesthetics of the couch in the room.For as little as they cost, it is a great investment to protect your new couch.

These sheets are very easy to use, and clean looking. We got a new couch, and with multiple cats I knew I had to have these at the ready. They adhere well and so far (it's been a week) I don't even need to use the little pins that come with it. They peel easily off the backing and adhere on their own to the couch. I ordered more of these to finish the job. These sheets are good for bigger jobs like a couch, and I like them better than "cat tape" (which can be useful too) because the slick backing means that fur (and people) don't stick them on the side that faces out. Highly recommend.

These furniture protectors are perfect! My cats were starting to scratch my couch and chair and after putting these on, they don't even touch the furniture. I tries tape and contact paper and foil but nothing worked. These stuck right to my furniture and did exactly what I needed them to. They aren't extremely noticeable and they stay adhered. I didnt even have to use the pins they came with. Just make sure to vacuum any soft surface you are adhering them to prior to sticking them on.

I have a huge exposed flat side on the chase of our couch that I was worried would become a scratching post. I used these all along the side and they aren’t super noticeable. They have managed to stay up and protect the couch against our kitten! It helps that we put a nice scratching post next to the couch as well! The sheets are a great thickness; they are easy enough to trim to shape, thick enough to be durable, and the adhesive is holding without using the included upholstery pins. I have one strip wrapping around the edge of a seat cushion and it is adhering without the pins. The cat forgets and still stretches its claws on the cushion and is completely repelled. Next thing he scratches is his head.

I am actually using these furniture protectors around the bottom of my new swivel/ rocking chairs and if my dog pees on them it runs right off and never touches the fabric. They are durable and easy to install. With the adhesive backing I didn't even need to install with the tacks. You dint even notice them on the furniture.

This is by far the best furniture protector we’ve tried. The plastic is strong and durable, and most importantly - our cats simply cannot scratch through it. We’ve tested several different products before, and this one works the best.It holds up very well over time and actually protects the furniture as promised, which is not always the case with similar products.The only downside is that it comes in predefined sizes, so you can’t fully customize or shape it exactly the way you might want. That said, the effectiveness more than makes up for this limitation.Highly recommended - we’ve already suggested it to all our friends with cats! 😸

Works well and stay on for a long time! My cats just work around them so unless I want to cover every inch of my furniture they will find a way to scratch lol. But it does prevent them where it is placed!

I put these on my couch just about a week ago and they are successfully protecting the corners of my couch where my cat likes to scratch! I cut the pieces to the proper sizes needed for the sections I was trying to protect and stuck it to the couch. I placed one pin successfully which was a huge pain in the butt to do. Quit honestly I did not pin down the other corners it is simply stuck to my couch but so far has not come off. Even if I had to replace it every couple of months totally worth it because it's saving my couch!

These have been an absolute furniture saver.

This is pretty nice and has enough to protect every corner on both couches. You trim it to size and this screw that resembles a needle is screwed in to hold edges.The screw does not tear up furniture, if you take it off you can barely see were it went in.
