This is a great set of plastic furniture protector sheets. It comes with two different sized sheets but you can also cut them to size if needed. This set is smooth on one side and adhesive on the other. It comes with furniture pins and it came with 4 cat paw furniture feet covers which is cute. The plastic sheets stick well to the furniture but I do find they start peeling off fairly quickly, however if you also use the included pins at the corners then the plastic stays on for a long time without needing to replace it. The pins screw in and work on most material except leather, but I also wouldn't use the sticky sheets on leather either as it would likely damage it.I have three cats who leave most of my furniture alone but there is one chair they have taken to lightly scratching and some new chairs that have a padded seat. I put the sheets on the spots they were scratching and they have now stopped scratching both and are sticking to their scratching posts. It is noticeable on the furniture but it doesn't look awful and it's doing the job well. I've ordered other brands of sticky sheets in the past when the cats were kittens but I had to buy the pins separately and the sheets were smaller, this set is much better and comes with everything needed to get the plastic to stay on for extended periods.

It’s not perfect, you can still see it in most lighting, but it does exactly what I needed: save the couch from two chaotic kittens while staying easy to apply and remove. If you’re looking for a no‑drama, non-toxic way to protect your furniture, this is the perfect. I love that the tape comes in pre-cut out shapes and sizes that work for most couch designs. Though I think after a month or two they will get dusty/linty and need to be replaced. You could also use this on other surfaces that they might destroy or that you want to deter them from. Highly recommend for anyone whose cats think your sofa is their personal scratch board! If I could give this a half star, it'd be 4.5/5 stars. I just wish it lasted longer, but what do you expect from tape. Bonus - there was a cute gift included; cat paw leg protectors for chairs/stools. I love that they're calico print! It's super cute and well made!!

I bought this to put on my furniture for my kitten and it worked. The 12 sheets were enough to cover one material covered arm chair from top to bottom. Was easy to apply and come off. But I had to cut some strips to smaller pieces and those were difficult to get the backing off from. Also DO NOT make the mistake I made and put the wrong side on your furniture. It tells you which side to put on your furniture and a couple smaller pieces I did the opposite way because I couldn't get the backing off so the other side came off first. Don't do this cause it will leave sticky residue on your furniture. Now I have to figure out how to get that off. But if you've put it on properly it comes off great. Highly recommend because it works, my cat tried once, saw how sticky it was and never tried again

I have two kittens, and have been behavior training them. Naturally curious and a bit rebellious, they explore and jump up on counters, scratch the couch, and jump up at their room door when they want to get to me. The tape has really helped. They very quickly stopped jumping on counters and dangerous high places, stopped scratching areas of the couch, and door jumping has stopped (mostly. They only do it when I get home if I’ve been gone longer than usual). Great stuff and very helpful.

I’ve gotta be honest, I was doubting that this would work at all to prevent my cat from scratching my bed and what not. I was wrong - this is insanely effective. The immediate moment I put them on and since then, my cat hasn’t scratched my bed or the walls, or bit any cables. Anywhere this stuff is she avoids which is actually impressive and exceeded my expectations. It’s just double sided tape in essence, but the idea is brilliant.She also has a tendency to bite cables and jump at outlets (kitten still that’s why), so I also cut some pieces with an open area for the outlet, and she no longer attacks those. Also for cables I cut thin strips off and wrapped it around the cable, worked to stop that as well. The corners of the walls she would bite, she no longer does.This worked far better than I thought it would and I am highly impressed. It does exactly what it says it would do + some if you get a little crafty. Amazing product, would highly recommend this to anyone with a cat who likes to bite everything.P.S: I should note that this is my experience with my kitten, it may not be as effective for your cat/kitten. For $40 though, you can’t go wrong trying it to see if it’ll work. If it doesn’t, now you have giant double sided tape!

Yep, it works. It's not rocket science. We have had an older cat for 10 years, who never scratched, I guess we were lucky. Now we've added 2 sibling kittens that are very sweet but very clearly at least 50% demon. They want to turn every object on the planet into confetti. We have combined this fabric tape with what experts call "training" to try to make the kittens scratch less, but, only having had an old cat for 10 years, we might as well be trying to teach the new kittens calculus. We'd heard about products like this and were using packing tape backwards as a type of ghetto solution at first. It seemed to work, so, we got these sheets to try instead. They work. The kittens stopped scratching. Or rather, they stopped scratching our couches and are forced to become more creative in ways they may ruin our house with their adorable little paws and demon blades. The product works perfectly, but a side-effect of using it is that you will forget it's there, and then one day one of the boys is sitting down in shorts, and when they go to stand up it tries to wax their legs smooth. This isn't a failure of the product, it's just a consequence of needing to use it. I hate that we need to use this, but I'm not buying new couches every year either, so, the price for my peace is eternal vigilance.

We’ve had cats for years and none of them ever cared about our furniture, until my 10-year-old grandson came home with a sweet, slightly chaotic kitten. That cat made a beeline for the corners of every couch and chair in the house. These one-sided sheets have been a solid first line of defense. They come in two sizes, which makes it easy to mix and match based on the shape of the furniture, and the material is thick enough to stand up to determined claws. They don’t feel flimsy or like they’ll peel off mid-scratch. We used the included twist pins for extra hold, and they haven’t budged. They’re also clear enough not to scream “Grandma wrapped her furniture in plastic!” which I appreciate. So far, the kitten’s mostly lost interest in his couch adventures, and I haven’t had to sacrifice my armchair to the cause. If only they made something similar for walls.

We have a bonded pair of cats and have had them since they were kittens. They go through phases of chaos, and we have relied on training tapes to make sure our furniture survives. We have tried so many different types of training tape and most of them come on rolls and are annoying and frustrating to use. With these sheets, I was able to do two couches and 6 dining chairs within 15 mins. SO EASY. Takes quite a bit of time and patience to actually prep and apply onto the couch but they are effective! My cat is 4 years old and has been scratching the couch from when he was a kitten but this has made him stop! We’ve also used them on our dining chairs. It honestly took us as cat parents more time to get used to as the sheets are super sticky and we accidentally leaned against them a few times and it was like getting a leg wax! Ouch! However I wish we had tried these sooner and wouldn’t hesitate to get them again! I just wish the design made them easier to apply!

My 9 month old kitten has a liking for our furniture, anything leather or microfibre is her favourite. recently she’s been wanting to go outside and we don’t allow her to so she’s been resorting to scratching the wall frame. we put this tape on all areas that she likes to scratch - including the wall by the door. we put scratching posts in these areas and she’s actually been using it since the tape. the tape on the wall frame may take some of the paint off - but i would rather that then having to replace the frame

A few months ago, we invested in all new furniture for our duplex. We also adopted an adorable little ball of fur who is destroying all the furniture (and most of our limbs below the knees). I can't say enough about this product's effectiveness. The kitten doesn't like the feeling of the sticky tape on its claws or teeth. I have a huge exposed flat side on the chase of our couch that I was worried would become a scratching post. I used these all along the side and they aren’t super noticeable. They have managed to stay up and protect the couch against our kitten! It helps that we put a nice scratching post next to the couch as well! I definitely recommend these as they will save your furniture!

I thought I would try these sticky pads to use on my furniture as we have a couple 4 month old male kittens and they LOVE to scratch our brand new furniture. It actually stopped them because their little paws got stuck on the tape lol I would definitely recommend this product and will buy again if I even need some more!

These sheets really work. They were easy to apply and can be repositioned if necessary. Very sticky on both sides. My kitten touched it twice and the scratching has stopped. Added benefit: I applied it between the coach backrest and the couch cover I’m using so now the cover doesn’t slide out of place any more.

These clear couch protectors have been a total game-changer. They’re not super obvious once applied; the plastic is really clear, so they don’t ruin the look of my furniture. My cat has stopped trying to climb the couch at all times of the day thanks to these. Very happy with them!

I’ve bought this before. Works great for the couch protecting it from my kitties nails. You can use full sheets or cut them to the desired size. They work. I didn’t use the plugs to hold it in place, it stays in place on its own. Great product for those with new kittens.

Two kittens, 7 months old, had to protect the sofa from those claws and these work like a charm. They haven’t even tried to scratch since applied to sofa. Can barely see them which makes me happy. No more blankets covering the sofa the cats are using their scratcher now.

I didn't use the squiggle pegs since my kittens find it entertaining to try and remove them. Just sticking the panels to our couch and chairs made a huge difference. I highly recommend for anyone dealing with kitties who love to scratch where they shouldn't.

Put it along the base of our couch and it ended the temptation for our kitten! He hasn’t touched it since for several weeks. It is nice that it is so transparent, it isn’t an eye-sore and our den still looks good. East to cut to fit.

I tried these on the exact furniture areas my kitten loves to scratch, hoping the sticky surface would discourage the behaviour. The adhesive definitely sticks well to the furniture. It stays in place and doesn’t peel off easily, so from a basic adhesion standpoint, it does what it’s supposed to do. Unfortunately, that’s where the success ended. My kitten simply kept scratching the exact same spots as if nothing had changed. The tape stayed attached to the furniture, but it didn’t deter the behaviour at all. If anything, it just became another surface to attack. In a single-cat household with a more cautious cat, this might work better. With a determined kitten who treats everything like a challenge, it didn’t slow the scratching down even a little.
