It’s been two months since I put them up on a new couch and they worked really well. The adhesive is amazing, didn’t even need the pins. I tried to remove one in a corner and it didn’t damage the material. Overall super happy with them. I would like to see a more dull option, since from certain angles it’s shiny.

Purchased for a new sofa and chairs; these were very easy to install, peel and stick. Very sturdy and stick well to a corduroy/velour material. They are clear and are noticeable especially in daylight but rather this than torn material. Definitely has stopped scratching of nail claws on furniture using cat scratch pole more often. There are a generous amount of pin cushion that are easy to twist into the material once you break through the plastic. Hold the corners in place much better. Would recommend product. Have been on the sofa for almost 3 weeks now and still holding well. Highly recommend. Only wish there were more sheets in package. Good size.

I've had a problem with my cat scratching my gorgeous wood bed frame for attention. It often wakes me up. I heard her the night after I put this on start, then immediately stop so it definitely works as a deterrent. Will add it to a few more surfaces she is after! I cut it into strips which made it a little harder to peel the adhesive without the tabs.*I haven't yet removed it from the wood surface I put it on, so can't comment on this aspect

I used these for my new velvet couch and it works great!! I chose velvet because even if they scratch anywhere else on the couch it barely shows if anything at all. Thanks for making this awesome product!

This is a great set of plastic furniture protector sheets. It comes with two different sized sheets but you can also cut them to size if needed. This set is smooth on one side and adhesive on the other. It comes with furniture pins and it came with 4 cat paw furniture feet covers which is cute. The plastic sheets stick well to the furniture but I do find they start peeling off fairly quickly, however if you also use the included pins at the corners then the plastic stays on for a long time without needing to replace it. The pins screw in and work on most material except leather, but I also wouldn't use the sticky sheets on leather either as it would likely damage it.I have three cats who leave most of my furniture alone but there is one chair they have taken to lightly scratching and some new chairs that have a padded seat. I put the sheets on the spots they were scratching and they have now stopped scratching both and are sticking to their scratching posts. It is noticeable on the furniture but it doesn't look awful and it's doing the job well. I've ordered other brands of sticky sheets in the past when the cats were kittens but I had to buy the pins separately and the sheets were smaller, this set is much better and comes with everything needed to get the plastic to stay on for extended periods.

I have tried other protectors before, and this one was the first pre-cut set I had gotten. It came with 7 large sheets and 5 smaller sheets plus some bonus chair socks for floor protection! It came with some nails to also secure them better onto certain fabrics, but I couldn't use them with the velvet sofas I was using them for.PROS:- Dense and high quality-- my cat can't scratch through them- Easy to apply and adjust- Additional screws for securityCONS:- The sizing was very awkward and it didn't cover the sides of my sofa well. I had to use the smaller strips to cover parts- It is very visible in comparison to other guards- You would have to cut some of the sheets anyway to get them to fit. It makes more sense to have the same amount in one role rather than one-sized-fits-all sheets.

Stirling (the cat) stopped climbing up the back of the chair but since I've put the plastic on, he went for the corner so I've got some patching to do. Fortunately, he's pretty good about using his scratching post most of the time but lately has decided to attack this one chair.The product is easily cut to fit and unlike another product I reviewed, the backing came off very easily to expose the adhesive.My favourite part was the little gift that was included in the package! Four very silly and cute cat feet (socks) that I could install on my kitchen chairs. Who'da thought that would give me a giggle every time I see them?!

For starters, the clear (albeit shiny) protective sheets are subtle and look better on my couch than similar products I've used. The material is quite thick and durable, and while it's done a good job at preventing my cats from making the couch their new favorite scratching post, the sheets are almost too thick for their own good. They have to be applied as perfectly as possible in order to prevent them from bulging or coming off. The adhesive itself is decent and won't damage my couch, but it's not necessarily strong enough to stay. The kit tries to mitigate these two issues by offering two different sheet sizes (which can also be trimmed down to a preferred size) as well as twist-in pins to hold the sheets in place. I've found that pre-bending the sheets for corners and applying as perfectly as possible has been the best method to keeping them on the couch. The twist-in pins are good in theory, but constantly popping out a little bit so I have to push them back in, and then the clear pieces stick out quite a lot. If you have cats that are rather curious, these may become a new thing for them to play with and potentially swallow. My cat hasn't managed to take any out, but she has tried to chew on them a couple times. Overall, they're decent sheets but could be better. Placing them on the solid edges of furniture have worked well, but if you need something more flexible to go on the lower cushions of your couch, I may look elsewhere.

I'm using another brand already, and I like it a lot better for a couple of reasons. This product has adhesive on both sides, which means it can quickly become a hair and dirt magnet and make the furniture look shabby. It's also a bit tricky to peel back except where the peel tab is, and if you cut it to fit, removing it is a challenge. That said, my cats have stayed away from every area where it's applied, which is the main job. If you're focused on protecting your furniture and don't mind the appearance trade-offs, it does work. Just look at the alternatives if aesthetics are a priority.

I didn’t realize when I ordered this that it was sticky, I thought it was a harder plastic like I had used before. So when I opened it I was sceptical at how it would work… but as my cats are apparently dedicated to destroying my sofa I put it on. It’s been on for a few months now and not come off at all. The cats avoid it like the plague. There is a singular paw print where one tried it out and was like nope. No more scratches in the sofa!It’s on the sofa in the basement so it doesn’t effect me cause we don’t really use it, however I don’t think I’d use it in a high traffic area. It’s basically like double sided tape and stuff sticks to it, I could imagine if it was on the upstairs sofa it might drive me nuts with things sticking to it or even me sticking to it. Our cats have ruined so many couches. We bought a couch I desperately wanted to keep nice so I bought these on a whim, they were sticky enough to stay on the couch but came with little clips to keep them in place for longer periods. Our cat immediately tried to scratch the couch as soon as it was through the door. They are now completely uninterested in the couch and moved on to the carpet. We have had them on for 6 months and we can hardly notice them.

We didn’t have much hope that this cat tape (who heard of such a thing?) would actually work, but it does! Ok, our cats ruined our prior sofa. When we got this new one, we were determined NOT to let this happen! We just applied the tape to the places they liked to scratch on our last sofa and all along the back as well. I have two kittens, and have been behavior training them. I’ve gotta be honest, I was doubting that this would work at all to prevent my cat from scratching my bed and what not. I was wrong - this is insanely effective. The immediate moment I put them on and since then, my cat hasn’t scratched my bed or the walls, or bit any cables. Anywhere this stuff is she avoids which is actually impressive and exceeded my expectations. It’s just double sided tape in essence, but the idea is brilliant.She also has a tendency to bite cables and jump at outlets (kitten still that’s why), so I also cut some pieces with an open area for the outlet, and she no longer attacks those. Also for cables I cut thin strips off and wrapped it around the cable, worked to stop that as well. The corners of the walls she would bite, she no longer does.This worked far better than I thought it would and I am highly impressed. It does exactly what it says it would do + some if you get a little crafty. Amazing product, would highly recommend this to anyone with a cat who likes to bite everything.P.S: I should note that this is my experience with my kitten, it may not be as effective for your cat/kitten. For $40 though, you can’t go wrong trying it to see if it’ll work. If it doesn’t, now you have giant double sided tape!

The sheets are easy to cut for custom fit. They're flexible enough to follow shallow single-direction curves, but rigid enough that you don't have to fight the plastic folding on itself while peeling it off the backing. There is quite a bit of static though while peeling the plastic off, so make sure to thoroughly clean around your work area to prevent catching hairs or other miscellaneous fuzz. The adhesive is gentle enough to reposition a few times, but these don't peel away on their own (at least with near-smooth fabric upholstery). These did come with some corkscrew pins for reinforcement, though judge carefully if that's acceptable with your type of furniture. I'm fortunate my cat generally doesn't use inappropriate furniture as scratching posts, but this is good for the few things that are awkwardly convenient kneading spots (such as a recliner right next to an apparently prime sprawling location). These did come with a bonus of a set of chair socks in a cat foot design.

This product, when used effectively, will deter your cat's from hitting the couch. Do take some measurements and think about where you'll put them. This specific one (no tacks, double-sided tape) is about the size of two normal slices of paper... you can cut them to size which is great but then it is more difficult to peel the backing off since only one corner has a little tab on it to help peel that backing. If you have a bigger couch, you'll be getting creative about where to put them and need to size them accordingly. This isn't difficult to do though, and these things work great!

I cut a strip of this and put it on the edge of a cabinet the Furball likes to walk on the proceeds to knock over all the media on there too. It was so entertaining to watch him test the sticky surface over and over, then try to bite the edge and try remove it. After seeing him not try that anymore, I removed the strip I stuck on yesterday and he still hasn't tried walking on there. Yep, it works. It's not rocket science. We have had an older cat for 10 years, who never scratched, I guess we were lucky. Now we've added 2 sibling kittens that are very sweet but very clearly at least 50% demon. They want to turn every object on the planet into confetti. We have combined this fabric tape with what experts call "training" to try to make the kittens scratch less, but, only having had an old cat for 10 years, we might as well be trying to teach the new kittens calculus. We'd heard about products like this and were using packing tape backwards as a type of ghetto solution at first. It seemed to work, so, we got these sheets to try instead. They work. The kittens stopped scratching. Or rather, they stopped scratching our couches and are forced to become more creative in ways they may ruin our house with their adorable little paws and demon blades. The product works perfectly, but a side-effect of using it is that you will forget it's there, and then one day one of the boys is sitting down in shorts, and when they go to stand up it tries to wax their legs smooth. This isn't a failure of the product, it's just a consequence of needing to use it. I hate that we need to use this, but I'm not buying new couches every year either, so, the price for my peace is eternal vigilance.

I have 3 fur kids, and only one wants to use the furniture as his personal form of entertainment. Applying *any* cover to a couch is problematic, complicated by fabrics that don't accept adhesives on soft, pliable surfaces as well as the added complication of moving surfaces for recliners, etc. With all that in mind, I found that these cat scratch furniture protectors work quite well.Pros:* Adhesive is just about right - neither too sticky, nor not sticky enough.* Size of pieces - also just about right (2x sizes), which can be combined as needed.* Good ease of use, e.g., removing the tape backing, applying to couch surface, etc.* Fastener pins - although not perfect - work well enough (see my comments below)Cons:* Kind of pricey, though I did get a discount when shopping during Christmas time.* The "1, 2, 3" instructions gloss over some challenges, e.g., how to combine / position sheets, how many fasteners to use, and how to use fasteners under different circumstances.Fasteners:Worth a few comments (see close-up pics of the fasteners, and of the fasteners installed). They're these curious twist/push pins with a sharp tip that you push through the protective sheet and couch fabric, then firmly twist to "grab the couch fabric" and help keep the protective sheets attached to your couch. When I first looked at them, I initial reaction was that they were kind of sketch - a strange shape, and not very strong. But as I applied them I began to realize that they work pretty well under challenging circumstances to provide some degree of improved "stay in place" durability for your affixed protective sheets. After installing dozens of fasteners here's a few take-aways I hope will be helpful:* The fastener head is small and it's a bit difficult to force the fastner tip through 1 or 2 sheets and through the couch fabric, so I used a vice-grip to hold a fabric needle and used that to "pre-drill" holes for the fasteners, which then were easy to poke through the hole and begin twisting.* Even under ideal conditions twisting the fastener into the couch fabric and ensuring it is flush to the protective sheet in order to hold it in place is an art. It helps to visualize the spiral needle worming it's way through the fabric then at the end you need one last extra firm twist to "lock" the fastener in place, which on the inside means that you've compressed the spiral needle against the back side of fabric.* It's a bit more tricky when there's wood behind the fabric. If the fabric is glued to the word, you're probably out of luck, but if there's some "flex" to the fabric you can wiggle the fastener and gently pull the fabric toward you (away from the wood) to allow the spiral needle to worm it's way in.* Sometimes despite your best effort the fastener doesn't go in or stay in properly or mount with the head nice and flush against the protective sheet. My take is that this is to be expected since the whole process of inserting the fasteners is a combination of art, skill and luck. If a fastener doesn't work well, pull it out and try again with another (I got pretty good after a few dozen, but tossed some out as I was learning).Cat Scratch Prevention Effectiveness: Best I can tell so far, wherever you place these protectors the cats do not even try to scratch - it's just not satisfying. So when affixed, these protectors work quite well!

I like everything about these furniture protections plastic sheets, and my cat hates them. It has virtually stopped him from ruining a beautiful wingback, upholstered chair, I've owned for years. I had help putting up the plastic sheets. Someone else cut them to measure for the sides, and used whole ones for the back. The chair is nearly covered on the back and sides, but it doesn't look bad at all, and it prevents my little monster from clawing it. Since the sheets can be cut in any shape we are adding a few little pieces here and there to stop the wily cat from finding an open spot. I also placed his new scratching post right beside the chair so it is easy to immediately pick him up and reintroduce him to the right place to scratch when he attempts to scratch on the furniture. We were very pleased with the adhesive sheets, and I pulled one off and replaced it to see if it did anything to the chair. It did not harm it at all and worked like a charm. We have quite a few leftover plastic sheets if we ever need to replace these. In addition to my previous review: I ordered another package of these sheets to do another chair in the same room, since the first chair is now being virtually left alone by wily kitty. These protector sheets do work as they claim and I don't think the chairs look terrible with the plastic sheeting on them. There is a lot less noise of him scratching now and I'm pretty smug about it. My cat is no longer interested in shredding her favorite upholstered chair and has successfully started using a scratching post that she had previously ignored. It really took getting furniture protectors to get her to use the scratching board. I initially purchased the smaller 5-pack of protectors and found that I needed more coverage since I have 3 furniture pieces. I now have all of the surfaces covered and have even removed the protector from the leather sofa since the cat does not bother it. I had no residue or issue with removing the adhesive from natural leather. I did use the included tacks to fasten the protectors to my upholstered chair because there are a lot of curves on the chair. These tacks were easy to install and do not appear to damage the furniture. I imagine I will eventually remove these protectors as the cat continues to use the scratching post. I did not use tacks on the leather sofa, and the product adhered to it with no problem. After a few weeks, it is starting to lift in higher traffic areas where we rub up against it frequently, but the goal was to use these temporarily until the cat learns where to scratch. I was also able to remove and reposition these protectors and they still were very sticky.

The product works as advertised! Yes, the protectors might not be so glamorous when affixed to your furniture, but the goal of this product is to deter your cat(s) from tearing up your furniture. From my experience, I would say the product does just that! After you observe your cat(s) have developed an association not to scratch the area(s) of the furniture where the product was applied, you can experiment by removing the protector(s) to see if the cat(s) have truly developed such association. My wife and I have placed pieces on the corners of our mattress and our cats no longer scratch the mattress (even areas that weren't covered by the protectors). My cats are notorious for scratching the h*ll out of furniture (even though they have several scratching pads and posts and get regular nail trims). We had to replace part of our sectional, so I added these the second the delivery people left my house. They cut very easily and the little circular pins were fairly easy to “screw” into the fabric, except where I was near the wood/metal pieces inside. They even came in a smaller strip that matched the size of the armrest area.In the third picture, you can see I even put it over top of a part of the couch they had previously scratched, which we did not replace. It hides the scratches pretty well. I missed a tiny one inch space and they definitely got their claws on it lol. We’ve had cats for years and none of them ever cared about our furniture, until my 10-year-old grandson came home with a sweet, slightly chaotic kitten. That cat made a beeline for the corners of every couch and chair in the house. These one-sided sheets have been a solid first line of defense. They come in two sizes, which makes it easy to mix and match based on the shape of the furniture, and the material is thick enough to stand up to determined claws. These are a true life saver. You don’t even notice them on your furniture. Sometimes I change them out, as sometimes loose flying hair attracts to them. And when I peel them off, my furniture is just fine! No issue. And the cats stay away.Additional use for them, we have a kitty that is mentally challenged and he would pee around the house. No matter what I did, he would keep peeing there. As this was his mental disability, things didn’t work the same way as a regular cat. What I learned was that even though we can’t smell where they’ve peed after I would clean it, didn’t mean the kitty couldn’t. So I started putting those sticky papers over his regular spots and he has not had an accident since. And we don’t notice them on the carpets either. And again, you can change them out. No damage to the carpet. 10/10.

This is a pretty simple product that has so far worked perfectly for me. It comes in a package with more than enough sheets to cover what you need. There were also some additional half cut sheet for smaller areas you need to cover. My biggest worry was these would just fall off since its essentially a sticker on fabric. These stuck way better than I had expected, plus they came with corkscrew pins for additional security to prevent from coming off. I have a particular area on my couch that all 3 of my cats love to use as a scratching post. After 1 day and a couple of tries each from the 3 of them, they've all essentially given up and moved onto their actual scratch posts. Best part is, you really don't even notice they are there all that much.

My cats were obsessed with scratching my bed. No matter what I did, they would not stop. I bought these to see if it would solve the issue and it did. I am very pleased with it. I’ve had them on the sides of the box beneath my bed for 5+ months now and I’ve had no issues. I at least recommend trying it, but depending on whether or not you trim your cats nails (which you always should. Scratching does NOT trim it for them and it causes them pain to have their nails too long and can lead to arthritis and curled nails!) and how bored they are, it may not solve the issue. So responsible pet care, along with these strips, would probably yield the best results. :)

I’ve tried similar products in the past, but this set has definitely been my favorite so far. The sheets are thick and durable, and I love that it comes with multiple sizes already cut—super convenient. Once applied, they’re practically invisible except for a bit of shine, and they’ve done an excellent job keeping my cats from scratching the couch. The adhesive works really well (even after repositioning), and the extra twist pins are a nice backup, though I didn’t really need them. Absolutely spot on bought a brand new white couch did not want my three cats to tear it up like they’ve torn every single other couch up placed it on the front of the arms the side of the arms, the back of the arms and they absolutely don’t touch it. They don’t even rub against it. My couch is in perfect condition. It peels off easy it’s virtually see-through except for a little black tab that shows where you can grab it and pull it off easy to apply easy to remove. The only thing is is if you walk by and press against it you stick to it. Same set on for three weeks and you can cut to specific shapes and sizes.

This works so well! Its thick yet thin enough to wrap around the arms of my chairs. Bigger pieces as well so we were able to cover the backs and sides where the cats wanted to scratch as well. It comes with little spiral pins to attach it. They are thin so they dont hurt the furniture and they are kind of decorative in a way so they are cute and dont bother me that you can see them. We have 5 cats, 4 of which like to really go to town on furniture. These made an immediate and significant difference on our existing couch, so when we bought new Lazy boy recliners we also put these on all the edges. They haven't clawed them at all except for small spot on the top where we didn't put the protectors.They will attract lint and hair, and the tender parts of your arm if you're not careful, but even when they're not sticky the cats still won't touch them, so we just leave them on - lint and all.

These furniture protectors are perfect! My cats were starting to scratch my couch and chair and after putting these on, they don't even touch the furniture. I tries tape and contact paper and foil but nothing worked. These stuck right to my furniture and did exactly what I needed them to. They aren't extremely noticeable and they stay adhered. I didnt even have to use the pins they came with. Just make sure to vacuum any soft surface you are adhering them to prior to sticking them on.

I tried using the Sleek Guards Cat Scratch Deterrent Tape to protect my furniture, but my cat ended up licking it! While it did initially deter scratching, my cat found it more intriguing than I expected. However, despite the licking, it still helped minimize damage to my furniture. I'd suggest keeping an eye on your cat's behavior and potentially trying other deterrent methods alongside the tape if licking becomes an issue.

I've bought these kinds of things before but not the double sided tape version. My cat doesn't like using scratching posts or anything related to that. So our one ottoman has seen some damage. I used this tape on a lot of our furniture and he doesn't go near it! I also had soft paws on him but he can bite those off and go for couches. With this stuff, he doesn't bother! I'd buy again.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this has worked so far. Its been a few weeks and they cats have not gone near it after initial contact. It was so easy to install and great adhesion. I am interested on how easy it will be to take off at some point. They had a great suggestion in the back about using a hair dryer to heat it up before removing. Very Happy!!

I have used various forms of scratch deterrent on our couches, but none have worked this well. The plastic fits and adheres perfectly to my couch, and even has some extra pins to hold it in place. You can tell it is top quality.I will certainly be purchasing more Sleek Guards as my furniture collection grows, and my cat finds new ways to damage them lol.

Excellent product. Cat gave up after 1 try! I recommend this product. I would like to suggest for the plastic to have a less glossy appearance starting now. It glares out across the room drawing attention to the furniture where I affixed it. If you tone down the high gloss, I would be very appreciative. Even "frosted" is better than the high gloss.

It works great for its intended use. It does obviously work and act like sheets of tape on your couch so they will get dusty and need to be replaced but our couch has been completely safe all year. Lost my car keys once and found them stuck to the tape lol

My kitties are fond of scratching upholstered furniture, and had in the past destroyed the sofa in a guest room. I have applied this product to a new sofa, and they do seem to avoid the sticky stuff. Fingers crossed that it continues to be a deterrent.

I didn’t think they would work but they do the only thing I don’t like are the little screw in pins you get with it they don’t work that well I used 3 of them they didn’t work the 4th one did just have to work with the pins for them to stay in place.

Bought a brand new sofa and got these right away. They’ve completely deterred the cats from scratching. They don’t stick the best but the pins hold them in place. The only problem is if you catch the pins on your skin or clothes it’ll rip them

Put them on our new furniture and the little monsters haven’t laid a paw on them. Only complaint is the fabric screws are a bit long and hit the wood frame in some areas resulting in them not seating flush with the guards.

I personally reupholstered my couches because my cat ruined them…she started again, so I bought this…AMAZING! …not as nice as having a couch with no plastic…but she doesn’t scratch!

This works great. I have three cats and none of them is damaging my sofa now. Easy to install, nice looking and less expansive than buying new furniture every 5 years.

It's stopped the scratching on the furniture previously used but now I have to put it on all the couches as he's just moved along... Other than that, it does work well.

The cats won’t scratch the couch where the pad is but now they scratch higher up, above the pad. Easy to apply and I will probably buy more for other furniture pieces

As a product to protect furniture, it does a first rate job. One day and the cat stopped scratching. One thing that would make it better is to make the finish matt.

Unfortunately this product just wasn't the best fit for what I needed, I got it to put on the back of our chairs, but they have a slight curve to them and this just isn't flexible enough to fit them properly. On the parts that were flat, it did a great job, stuck well, and would be perfect if it was on a completely flat surface. I was hopeful that it would be enough to deter my cats, but they just picked at the edges where it couldn't get a good fit, but I can't blame the product for that.

We had a cat adopt us last year, and she really, really likes scratching the corners of our bed before and after naps, especially when we are still sleeping. I saw these and thought they might allow me to have another 15 minutes of sleep, and a little more life out of our bed. These are essentially large sheets of clear plastic with a light tackiness to the backside to make installation easier. There are thumbscrews (spiral tacks?) included as well. They were easy to install without having to read instructions, and have worked well to protect the corners of the bed. Unfortunately, when sitting on the edge of the bed, they crinkle and make that plastic sheet bending noise. Also, my cat is very adaptable and is now using the unexposed portion of the bed next to the plastic. That said, the corners where these are installed have been scratch-free ever since, and getting even an extra 10 minutes of undisturbed sleep is a win. Decent solution even if it's not a perfect one.

Got a new couch, my cat thinks he's Spider-Man and likes to climb along the bottom as well as claw the sides. Application was easy but there just wasn't enough to cover all my problem areas so I had to leave about 2 inch gaps between some stickers. 3 of the stickers peeled off by the following day. The rest are in place months later still, which I honestly didn't expect. My cat scratches the small gaps I left, which is hilarious, but the actual furniture is holding up where these are applied. Not perfect but the couch would look a lot worse without them.

They are clear and very shiny, which makes them stand out more than I'd like in certain lighting. But my cat has completely stopped scratching the spots where they're applied, which is the whole point. Not the most invisible solution but it works.

This furniture protection sheets which is double sided is not very simple to use. As soon as you pull the one side off you think all is well then you go to take the other side off to reveal the second sticky area and it gets all tangled up and stick to itself. Every single sheet gave me issues. Inevitably I just ordered different ones because w couldn’t get them to stop sticking to themselves. Only one out of the entire pack did what it was supposed to. My cats acted like it was a toy by the next day. I wish it did work as well as I hoped but it didn’t . If you can figure out how to get them to not stick to themselves you would be fine but e cant get it right. Maybe someone else can buy it just wasn’t in the cards for me.

I tried these on the exact furniture areas my kitten loves to scratch, hoping the sticky surface would discourage the behaviour. The adhesive definitely sticks well to the furniture. It stays in place and doesn’t peel off easily, so from a basic adhesion standpoint, it does what it’s supposed to do. Unfortunately, that’s where the success ended. My kitten simply kept scratching the exact same spots as if nothing had changed. The tape stayed attached to the furniture, but it didn’t deter the behaviour at all. If anything, it just became another surface to attack. In a single-cat household with a more cautious cat, this might work better. With a determined kitten who treats everything like a challenge, it didn’t slow the scratching down even a little.
